Hey everyone! I have had a couple of requests to see the house furninshed and here we are - more pics of my house. Sorry about the pictures the camera I have been using has been to Iraq and back so I think I need a new camera or I need to get it professionally cleaned out or something. Anyway sorry it took so long to get these pics up but here they are. The first one we are looking at is the view from the living room into the dining room. We plan on getting a burgundy color panel curtains and painting the same color under the chair rail.
Here is a shot from farther out.
This shot is standing by the front door.
This shot if from standing in the dining room looking into the living room.
A closer shot of the living room. This is all natural sunlight that pours in the house in the morning. This picture doesn't do any justice it is a lot brighter than this. Also if you look at the windows these are the first valances that Sean and I have EVER bought. You are probably like what is Lyn talking about. Well all the house we have bought and sold and rented came with all curtains and valances already. That is crazy huh? So these are the first bought in our family. He he he sooo corny :) I also changed the light shades from a beige to a light color green - more of a sage shadow color :) We plan on painting the wall where the TV is to the same color and leave the wall where the windows are the tan color we chose. I don't know we will see when we start painting.
Here is a shot standing in between the living room and dining room looking into the kitchen and eat in kitchen area. We put the same valances that were in the living room into the kitchen. We are not sure if we are going to paint the kitchen the same as the living room but we know we are going to put a mini tile backsplash above the countertops to match the cool color scheme :)
Here is a shot of the kitchen from the living room. As you can see in the lower right hand corner of the picture there is a cut in my leather couch. We got it from moving back to the states. Darn it! But the view of the house is awesome and makes up for the cut in the couch.
Here is a picture from the back door that is by the eat in kitchen area, looking into the living room. You can see the french doors into Sean's study office room. Which is great when we have kids we can watch them while they are playing whereever we are at. You can also see the stairs that lead up to my craft room. You all have already seen pics of those so I won't show those today. Also you can see another door to the left of the stairs that lead into the in law suite. I won't show pics of that either because I need Sean's professional camera for that :)
Here is a picture of the guest bathroom that is to the right of Sean's office. The floor looks like it is yellow but it is NOT. It's tan tiles.
Here is my laundry room and as you can see my Decor Elements is still sitting on the washer and dryer. The light is yellow again but the walls are tan and the trim is white. I think it is the pigtail lights we put in. The energy efficient ones. How weird?
To the right of the laundry room is a little bench with hooks. It's like a mini mud room. This is right beside the garage door.
Here is the entrance to my bedroom.
Here is my bedroom standing right beside the bay window. As you can see I have my TV on the top of my dresser. It looks like it is really high but it is perfect when we are laying in bed watching TV. You all are probably wondering why in the world did I put it way up there - well frankly for the last 10 years since I met Sean the TV has always been at an angle from my head and I would have to watch TV for a long time with my head crooked. It is not comfortable. So I made Sean put it up on top of the dresser :) He he he!
Last but not least my master bath. I plan on painting a calm blue in here maybe to match the bath rugs or a little darker - not sure yet. Straight ahead is the toilet room. The shower and soaker tub is on the left and the mirrors are on the left. And my walkin closet is on the left behind the mirrors.
Thank you all for stopping by and venturing our experience with Sean and I.
Have a great day!
Lyn
Lynn, the house is gorgeous. You have done a great job so far love the natural sunlight in the rooms. Keep up the beautiful pics.
